Intro

Hey guys, it's Delz @wolfofnewstreet (twitter + instagram) here. I'm a lifelong student of innovation & entrepreneurship with a background in economics and masters degrees in marketing and innovation & entrepreneurship.

I've also worked at companies like BT & Conde Nast as a user experience designer learning how to design products to be used by millions of people. I'm now currently researching and designing new product ideas using web 3 technology like blockchain, voice, AI and extended reality (ar/vr).

I've been compiling this list based on trends since 2020 and I hope to continuously add to this over time and fill it up with resources for anyone trying to go into startup building as a side project that eventually has momentum.

Some of these ideas may exist already, it will be because a lot of people see the same trends and the same problems but ideas have no owners and it's all about the execution. I hope one of these sparks something in your mind, and you're brave enough to start a startup.

First, what is a startup?

"A company designed to grow fast" : Paul Graham Founder of YC.

In other words, it must be very easy to go from 1 to 5000 users/ consumers.

So your web design agency is not a startup, but a web-based platform matching people looking for web designers to available web designers, on the other hand, is a startup.

Also if you can make 5000 packs of beard growth cream, and sell it to people all over the world from your website that's a startup. If they can only come to your physical store, then it's not.

The point is, you use the internet to easily gain access new customers all over the world with a startup.
